Enhancing Concrete Properties for Superior Performance
An admixture is a substance which can be added to concrete to achieve or modify its properties. Admixtures are added to the concrete, in addition to cement, water and aggregate, typically immediately before or during the mixing process. Admixtures can be used to reduce the cost of building with concrete, or to ensure certain required properties or quality of the cured concrete. If problems arise with the concrete during the construction process, Admixtures can be used as an emergency measure to try and prevent failure.

Used to slow the corrosion of reinforcing steel in the concrete. Often used in marine structure & bridges.
Types of Admixtures
ChemPlast 400 SP
It is a chloride free, superplasticizing admixture based on selected synthetic polymers. It conforms with BS 5075 and with ASTM C 494 as Type A, G & F.
ChemPlast 450 SP
It is a chloride free, superplasticising admixture based on selected sulphonated naphthelene polymers. It supplied as a brown solution which instantly disperse in water. It conforms BS 5075, and with ASTM C494 as Type A and Type F depending on dosage used.
ChemPlast 480 M
It is a chloride free, superplasticizing admixture based on selected polymer modified naphthelene sulphonate dispersives. It conforms BS 5075, and with ASTM C 494 as Type F & G depending on dosage used.
ChemPlast 390 Optima
It is a high performance mid-range concrete hyperplasticizer based on polycarboxylate technology. It conforms with ASTM C-494, Type F & G depending on dosage used.
ChemPlast 490 Optima
It is differentiated from conventional super-plasticizer in that it is based on unique carboxylic ether polymers with long lateral chains. It conforms with BS 5075, BS:EN 934-2 and with ASTM C494 as Type F and G depending on dosage used.
ChemCrete 1000
Nimir Chemcrete 1000 is an alkali-free admixture used in shortcrete and gunite where rapid setting is required. Setting time and hardening time can be regulated by the dosage of ChemCrete 1000.
ChemPlast AEA
ChemPlast AEA is used to produce air entrained concrete for increased durability, resistant to damage by frost and de-icing salts, and to improve the cohesion and workability of concrete mixes where poorly graded aggregates must be used, and in any situation where bleeding, segregation or sand runs occur.
ChemPlast Antifreeze
A chloride free admixture in liquid form for concreting in cold weather. Its addition helps to maintain normal setting times even at low temperatures. Concreting at low temperatures. It Increased frost resistance and Improved strengths at low ambient temperatures.
ChemPlast EXP
ChemPlast EXP is an admixture for cementitious grouts and concrete where a reduced water cement ratio and positive expansion is required. Applications include bed grouting, duct grouting, non-shrink infilling and jointing. It is suitable pre-stressing grout admixture when complying with BS 8110.
ChemPlast Foam
Chemplast Foam is used for the production of foamed low density mortars. Typical application include trench filling for reinstatement, lightweight roofing screeds and the filling of undesirable voids such as old sewers and solvent tanks.
ChemCrete 1000 P
Nimir Chemcrete 1000P is an alkali-free admixture used in shortcrete and gunite where rapid setting is required. Setting time and hardening time can be regulated by the dosage of Chemcrete 100 P. It is supplied as a pale yellow liquid, which is introduced through the spraying nozzle or 4-7m behind the nozzle (injector).
ChemProof
Chemproof will drastically reduce water absorption in structural and precast concrete. It is suitable for use in below ground structures, reinforced concrete in marine areas, piles, water retaining structures, manholes, waste water treatment and desalination plants.
ChemCoat WP20
It can be used solely or with Chemproof for water-proof, structural and precast concrete. The dispersants in ChemCoat WP 20 improve the effectiveness of water in the concrete mix, enabling desired levels of workability to be obtained with lower water contents.
NimirGrind 1418
It is a chloride-free liquid additive to allow easier grinding to enhance the quality of all types of cements. It has been specifically developed to manufacture cements with high increased capacity.
ChemMicro Silica
It is a very fine pozzolanic material, composed of amorphous silica produced by electric arc furnaces as a byproduct of the production of elemental silicon or ferro silicon alloys. It can be used in a variety of applications such as concrete, grouts, mortars, fibre cement products, elastomer and polymer.
